Rebecca Cote is a visual artist living and working in Southern Maine.

She creates art that reflects long and intimate observations of and relationships with the natural world. Curious about the connection between realistic and abstract landscape painting, she uses dynamic gestures and subtleties of line and color to depict nature’s energetic moments.  Rebecca also designs and facilitates community art projects that generate the capacity for active agency.
