I am a relatively recent transplant from Boston. In 2020, during the pandemic, I decided to retire and move to Saco, Maine.

 

In Boston, I continually took classes at the Museum School, but was primarily a figurative painter working in oil and gouache. In Maine, I started to study plein air watercolor painting, a new and exciting endeavor. The landscape in Southern Maine is an incredibly energizing subject, and I am again using oil paint as well as watercolor to explore it.
