​Painting, for me, has been an absorbing pastime and a serious endeavor.  I have painted predominantly still life and landscape subjects for many years, working primarily in watercolor and oils. I enjoy them both, but I have a decided preference for watercolors because of the wide range of effects, both intentional and accidental, that play out on the surface of my paper.  Each outing is an adventure.  I have served as an instructor teaching watercolor painting in courses offered by the York County Senior College.
